PLEASE LIST YOUR OWN FAVOURITE MUSICIANS AND HOW EACH OF THEM INFLUENCED YOUR PERFORMING/ COMPOSING STYLE:

I love the tematic semplicity that develops on a complex harmonic plot: cause of that I prefer Stravinskij than more romantic classic musicians. Surely J.Lord’s and K.Emerson’s organistic style are conclusive on my musical formation; therefore, I’ve always prefered contaminations than pure categories. Classic, jazz and rock music all together influenced my style of composition towards a modal, polimodal and politonal direction. My favourite school about improvisation and use of more complex scales is the Chick Corea’s one, above all in fusion arrangements than in the jazzistic ones. About the voice my principal teachers had been Dave Coverdale and Glenn Hughes: the first one, above all, helped me in understanding how I need to keep a voice as linear as possible in low and high registers; about the second one, I’ve always appreciated the kind of phrasing and the funky component of melodic lines. Finally, about the inspiration source of riff construction, most important names are Whitesnake, Dokken and Black Sabbath.

PLEASE LIST YOUR EQUIPMENT
(Including and explaning customizing, effects, accessories, endorsments, etc.):

About digital sounds, I use a Roland keyboard as master, to pilot Roland, Yamaha and Ensoniq expanders; for analogical sounds I use two Korg synthetizers, a poliphonic one and a monophonic one (Ms 10), above all for the solo parts, and a Hammond keyboards, usually with valvolar preamplification to the most satured sounds. For the synthesis of analogical sounds I avail myself of indispensable help of our phonic Luca Martegani: he always have the solution for every kind of problem, and he realized some engines, and a midi analogical synthetizer with three oscillators (Sintetica Musica Machina SMM), that we used also to filter some sounds not necessarily of keyboards.
